Posted in Action Figure Chatter

I heard a guy on the forum saying he liked Hasbro Marvel Legends better because they were collectible. I thought it was a stupid arguemint but I wanted to sea what the rest of you thought.

They are collectable because they never make it to stores!!!

I love Toybiz legends. I love them AND I am actually able to find them for sale and own them!! Most Hasbro figs are urban myths!

Toybiz MLs had more POA and paint apps. Plus in a lot of cases the sculpts were better. With Hasbro we get less for more cash.

well deadpool was always cool, even in the 90's.... don't know where you folks have been.... I like toybiz, but I also like the prelegend figures... my favourite is still my deadpool with the knife stabbing action or the cyclops where he projected clips of the old show from his chest... but on the legends toybiz was way better

toybiz did excellent in the sculpt on several figures, but hasbro's paint isn't that good
the most important thing is, Hasbro produce some figures that we don't need
they keep repeating wolverines, captain america, spiderman, and they never make obscure ones

I like the ml era after toybiz became marvel toys. scaling and articulation (quality, not quantity) improved in this era.

I still have trouble figuring out how a small company like marvel toys can have their toys on a lot of store shelves, and a big company like hasbro can't get walmart exclusives to the walmart stores. I know a large part of the blame belongs to walmart, but hasbro has made seemingly no effort to correct the issues and get the toys to the consumers.

Toy Biz and Marvel Toys are one in the same. And they did it better than Hasbro. When Toy Biz did it they had articulation in the fingers for god's sake, Hasbro's ,ay looks nice, but they lack the quality Toy biz had
