I've never had any bad experiences with him either. I've left some comments on his customs and never really heard anything from him. I'm not sure of the actual chain of events, but he basically led me to this site and my interest in custom figures. I just remember searching "black bolt custom figure" and seeing his, and then eventually coming to the realm... and staying

I don't like watching football but it is a blast to play!

I think everyone is all right, and the likes of Jin, Kyle, Doc et al all happily share their knowledge and work for free.
Do I sniff jealousy from lesser customisers when I hear he is "disliked"?

I don't sea what everyones problem with Jin is! For starters I would be ticked off if someone insulted my stuff people should be polite when critisizing. Another thing is I am eternily indeted to him because I lerned to custimize completly from his tutorials.

joe movie was super cool, I nearly pooped my pants because of the greatness that it brought... and storm shadow was godly... love how things were close but cover girl was ugly imo, on the note of jin I've always seen him act professional for example just check out his hulk symbiote custom and how he explains that its okay to not like his stuff, idk but he's always seemed to be a class act

It's what you said sephiroth about the TF fans...they argue too much. I am not a TF fan myself (have an armada megatron for $15 is anyone wants it).



on the subject of the joe movie, it kicked all kinds of ass. I don't care what people say about it being childish or what not. It was a lot of fun. If they can not look at something from a critical standpoint for a minute then then it's awesome

Well if you get good criticisms you have no need to insult anyone, but all he gets HERE is positive feedback, while at 4chan, like you said, he gets negative feedback, he acts like a d!ck, and then because he acts like a d!ck people start bashing his work. It's a vicious cycle, but an existant one nonetheless

I Have had Emails Back & Forth W/ Jin He's a Good Guy I Missed The Contest Myself but I think He's As Professional As Any One Could Be Making Customized toys. Come on If You are d D!ck & you Make Cool Customs Most People Would Saw they Suck but If You Make Cool Customs & you Are A Cool Person then you Will Be A Success . So I guess It Goes With Out Saying There are 2 Sides To Any Story I Aint taking sidesIm Just saying I Have Respect For Poor, Moderate , Good & Great Work . Because If Have The Time To Show Off What You have Created or Customized you Deserve The Criticism & The Way you respond Is What Makes You cool Or a D!ck .

Shinobitron, you can go ask him and if he's professional he will admit to it, ut there are multiple holes in your theory:

1.4chan uses a tripcode system, where after it shows your name, you can put in a password that displays itself as a long string of numbers and letter that identifies you as you, it's impossible to figure out because there's no way of guessing

2.Next time Jin posts a custom there I can provide screenshots that shows he does say this

3. It couldn't be a bad mod because /toy/ has no mods

Yes I entered, why not! There was some REALLY cool things he was gving away and I figured my chance was just as good as anyone elses.

Whats Jin like:

First of all the guys is a nothing but professional. I nothing but respect for him as a human being and as a fellow customizer. He is honestly a very good person and from what he retaliation remarks are it seems that someone is using his name, (or their moderator powers) to make him look bad.

TF fans:

Though a TF fan myself I consider myself a normal one. I have come across ones that are to say the least very essentric, so bad to the point where they try boycotting the GI Joe movie in fear that it might beat their precious craptank of a sequel, and even blackballing people if they anything other than TFs.

fame sucks lol. what's wrong with us TF fans? Other than some are really overbearing and creepy? lol. I stay off TF boards now as it's like a constant war between fandoms of G1 and new stuff.

/toy/ is 4chans toy area. It's polluted with transformers fans and n00bs so I don't go there. /b/ for me. In regards to Jin, he's a great customizer, he really is. However, He's also severely overrated. Any customizer who merits threads about him that he didn't start is full of themselves aren't they? He's over famous for what he does

the only exposure I have had to jin has been here and on his main site. I have never known him to be anything less than professional. I have always been impressed by the fact that he doesn't really keep secrets. always describes his recipes. it is great. more customizers need to do that. even a few here, where it is a rule to give a recipe, do not describe what they do.

and I should have said this in my earlier post, no I did not enter. did not even hear about it till now.

AH, I see now. Sorry if I turned this into a slam Jin page, honestly wasn't my intention. He was part of the 4 guys whose work I studied when I decided to customize for a living.

in all fairness to jin, it seems impossible to not act like an idiot on 4chan. that is what all my observations have shown at least.

that place is a blackhole of intelligence and humanity. at least in my opinion.

Well, before I came here I hung out at the /toy/ board on 4chan, Jin would periodically post his customs on the board, people often said they didn't like them and he would retaliate in various ways like say, telling someone he hopes they get hit by a car, he even posted as an anonymous user quite often saying he liked his stuff and defending himself without actually defending himself. In fact, on one occasion, I said I liked his custom but that he was acting like a total a-hole, he then proceeded o call me a $#!+eater, so I'm not saying he's bad at what he does, I'm just saying he's a jerk when it comes to any negative criticisms.

Ah never been on there. You find that in various places. I've heard bad stuff about Kyle Robinson and he's not a bad guy either.

I've never heard anything bad about Jin. He's always been really nice when I've talked to him.
