The "What is this figure worth?" Thread

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

since some of us may have action figures we do not the the value of I have created this thread so you don't go making ones for individual figures. because that takes up space. so, this is just a thread for asking the value/ price of figures so you know what they are worth. have fun.

Sometimes you make your own deal by bartering.

As for best prices some prices are amazing at some booths and some are ok and some are over priced. I find it depends on he indvidual dealer.

Ebays awesome so long as you stay away from the professional ebayers. Those people suck, especially when they pad the shipping price. When it's normal people just wanting to get rid of stuff, ebay is the best there is by far.

What do you guys think of toy fairs and shows? Are those the best places to get a good price?

You see some wild variations because most figures can be put off as rare. I've seen some Tick figures for $40 in one place and the $10 somewhere else.

Yeah right. Ebay is completely overpriced. It may be the easiest means of getting the figures you're looking for, but that doesn't mean it gives a fair value.

To be honest -- A figure is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

If you're naive or lazy. Ebay is overpriced with good reason, because it is the easiest place to find what you're looking for. But if you scour the internet, CraigsList, Toy Stores, and Comic Shops your bound to find what you're looking for for a waaaayyyy better price. It just takes a little more work than typing the name of the figure.

It really depends on what you're looking for, I've found stuff cheaper on eBay than on BigBadToyStore
