Superman doesn't have anything better to do than mess around with time and space, does he?

No, this is how it happened:

I was walking along when this guy asked me to come over to him, he said his name was Dr Emmett Brown and he wanted me to sit in this car he was making. So I sat down in the car, he closed the door, and out of nowhere Superman came, picked up the car, and flew off the earth and around it a couple times, flew back down, put the car down and flew off.

Yes. I wanted to enter it into the Vehicles contest that we are currently having(in the future).

Also, Richard Cheney decided to run for President, and won, because all of the other candidates died because of mysterious hunting accidents.

edit:
heh, crazy filters

Um, let's see... Updates:

Project 006 is currently at a standstill as have yet to obtain styrene, because my Hobby Lobby does not carry it.

Plus due to school, homework, my grandma and aunts and uncles being here last weekend, it already being the 22nd of October, and me not having a good digital camera yet , I don't think I'll have it done by the end of the contest.

Also, remember that the wheels play a factor into the height But the car rides pretty low anyway, it shouldn't be a problem.

Well to the roof, it would be 3.6 inches in height based on a width of 8 inches, so 8 inches wide should work for a 6" scale model.

So I think that L: 26.4, W: 8, H:3.2-3.6 should work.

Thanks for your help Doc.

There were scenes where Robin and Batman were both in the Batmobile in that cartoon, it could definitely hold two people, it was a snug fit but they could do it.

Good point, to the roof it was like 2.25 inches

3.something inches looks right

Here's a pic of the newer model:

The toy was, yes. The cartoon depicted both Bats and Robin sitting in it, which is why I am now trying to find out how large it would need to be in order to fit both.

Also, was the two inches you measured to the height of the hood or the height of the roof?

Bear in mind, though, that the original BTAS Batmobile was only supposed to fit one.

Well, preferably Btas Batman by the Btas Batmobile(as in from the show, not pictures of toys).

Well, I found the ratio of Length to Width, 3.3:1(meaning 3.3 times 6 = 19., and the ratio of height to width, .4(.4 times 6 = 2.4)
Thus if it was 8 inches wide, it would be 26.4 inches long and 3.2 inches tall

Which Bats next to what? I might have that stuff too

Also, 6-inches wide would be right (according to your calculations of course!) but that would still only fit one figure inside, maybe 7-8 inches wide would be the "actual" size? And 2.4 inches tall? NO WAY! The figure wouldn't fit inside! A pic of real Bats next to a real Batmobile would definitely help...

Thanks, Doc. According to that, if the batmobile wasn't scalled smaller, a 6" one would be 19.8 inches long, 6" wide, and 2.4 inches tall.

I'll have to see if I can find a picture of Bats standing next to it to see if it looks too small.

Don't worry, I wasn't paying attention anyway

Here ya go! 16.5 inches long (front bumper to rear wing-tip), a little over 2 inches high, 5 inches wide and a little narrower near the middle (see the long pic). Also note that even if you modify the cockpit, two 5-inch figures still won't fit inside.

Well, I think that 1:12/6" and 1:6/12" are based on a height of 6 ft, since 6'/6 = 1', and 6'/12 = 6", so 5 inch scale should be around 1:14.4 scale, since 6'/5"= 14.4

also, the first two times I use a /, it's meaning or, and the last three times its meaning divided by, to clear up any possible confusion.

Scale, uuuuuuuhhh 6-inch is 1/12, and 12-inch is 1/6 so....5-inch is 1/10?

well, for the description of the figures, it says 4.75 inches for height, so would it be 4.75" scale or 5"? Also, what would that be as a fraction?

And sure, you can take pictures, it will help if I have some medium/large, good pictures for reference.

I have it, and yeah, it's THINNER than it's supposed to be. Bats and Robin should fit in side-by-side but you can only fit 1 fig. It's 5-inch scale, it looks good, it's just that it's a little too thin because they wanted to save plastic I guess? I'll take pics if you want, just hve to dig it out and get some decent lighting, lol...

Don't feel like editing my post again.

Does anyone have the toy one?

If so, what are it's dimensions and do you have any idea what scale it is?

Although it might be a smaller scale than the figures since the toy was meant to hold only one figure.

So was Bats high on fear toxin and thought Robin was a zombie or something?

I'm attempting to find them on the google right now, and the closest thing I've found is a forum of people dedicated to making lifesize batmobile replica's(mostly Tim Burton ones), but there was a topic with a link to one someone else made, pictures are bad though, and looks small:

Also, the same topic abruptly ended after 3 pages of the people on the forum talking about the specs of it and making one too. Maybe after that point they made a new topic for creating and posting pictures of theirs?

Found a much better picture of the same one:
BTAS Batmobile
Although, now that I found a good picture of it, it's too skinny and maybe the right height.

More good pictures of it(scroll down): , its definately too skinny, as it has one seat, and/or is too short, as the cockpit is way too tall compared to the chassis.
And the pictures are continued on the second page.

No...but I can post some pictures of Batman running over Robin
