Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on eBay
I was walking along when this guy asked me to come over to him, he said his name was Dr Emmett Brown and he wanted me to sit in this car he was making. So I sat down in the car, he closed the door, and out of nowhere Superman came, picked up the car, and flew off the earth and around it a couple times, flew back down, put the car down and flew off.
Also, Richard Cheney decided to run for President, and won, because all of the other candidates died because of mysterious hunting accidents.
edit:
heh, crazy filters
Project 006 is currently at a standstill as have yet to obtain styrene, because my Hobby Lobby does not carry it.
Plus due to school, homework, my grandma and aunts and uncles being here last weekend, it already being the 22nd of October, and me not having a good digital camera yet , I don't think I'll have it done by the end of the contest.
So I think that L: 26.4, W: 8, H:3.2-3.6 should work.
Thanks for your help Doc.
Good point, to the roof it was like 2.25 inches
3.something inches looks right
Here's a pic of the newer model:
Also, was the two inches you measured to the height of the hood or the height of the roof?
Well, I found the ratio of Length to Width, 3.3:1(meaning 3.3 times 6 = 19.
Thus if it was 8 inches wide, it would be 26.4 inches long and 3.2 inches tall
Also, 6-inches wide would be right (according to your calculations of course!) but that would still only fit one figure inside, maybe 7-8 inches wide would be the "actual" size? And 2.4 inches tall? NO WAY! The figure wouldn't fit inside! A pic of real Bats next to a real Batmobile would definitely help...
I'll have to see if I can find a picture of Bats standing next to it to see if it looks too small.
Here ya go! 16.5 inches long (front bumper to rear wing-tip), a little over 2 inches high, 5 inches wide and a little narrower near the middle (see the long pic). Also note that even if you modify the cockpit, two 5-inch figures still won't fit inside.
also, the first two times I use a /, it's meaning or, and the last three times its meaning divided by, to clear up any possible confusion.
And sure, you can take pictures, it will help if I have some medium/large, good pictures for reference.
Does anyone have the toy one?
If so, what are it's dimensions and do you have any idea what scale it is?
Although it might be a smaller scale than the figures since the toy was meant to hold only one figure.
I'm attempting to find them on the google right now, and the closest thing I've found is a forum of people dedicated to making lifesize batmobile replica's(mostly Tim Burton ones), but there was a topic with a link to one someone else made, pictures are bad though, and looks small:
Also, the same topic abruptly ended after 3 pages of the people on the forum talking about the specs of it and making one too. Maybe after that point they made a new topic for creating and posting pictures of theirs?
Found a much better picture of the same one:
BTAS Batmobile
Although, now that I found a good picture of it, it's too skinny and maybe the right height.
More good pictures of it(scroll down): , its definately too skinny, as it has one seat, and/or is too short, as the cockpit is way too tall compared to the chassis.
And the pictures are continued on the second page.
There have got to be some technical specs somewhere out there...
