Monarch from Armageddon 2000, remember?

Does anyone remember MONARCH, from the Armageddon 2000 story line from the late 80's? I really liked all this. It went on to spin off "Armageddon: Alien Agenda". Orginally Monarch was going to be Captain Atom, but the story leaked and they changed it. The change was the doom of the story as it caused a contradiction. That really doesn't bother me though, I still really dig Monarch. And I just pretend that it is still Captain Atom even though "Alien Agenda" is Captain Atom vs. Monarch for 4 issues. I don't care. Well I don't have more to say about it all, I was just wanting to know if anyone else likes him or even remembers.
