ok, well, I guess he's not all that bad, but pretty much all of the titles/events on that list were created and launched by geoff johns. so you could say he's the real brains behind DC...

Okay, Dido REALLY dropped the ball with Trinity and Final Crisis, and even Batman R.I.P.; but he's been great otherwise. Just look at all the great stuff we HAVE gotten under his reign:

-Green Lantern: Rebirth
-Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War
-Justice Society of America Relaunch
-Infinite Crisis
-52
-Battle For Bludhaven
-Booster Gold
-Geoff John's on Action Comics
-Tangent: Superman's Reign
-Batman: Son of the Demon
-Trials of Shazam! (Shut up, I liked it)

Maybe it's just that he had his time and now it's over, time to pass the torch.

Wait... Aunt May died? I thought Parker made that deal with Mephisto to save her life.

A lot of writers seem intent on killing off characters, lately. Just look at all the recent death:

-Captain America
-Blue Beetle
-Martian Manhunter
-Aunt May
-Jean Grey
-Captain Janeway of ST Voyager
-The New Gods
-Goliath
-Half The New Warriors

But...but...Martian Manhunter, Batman, and Darkseid, one of Superman's few awesome villains had to die! They just had to! Just because!

It would have been better if they had not done Countdown period, gave the series a full twelve issuses instead of seven, kept it self contained like was the original anouncment from Dido and...you know what? It would have been better if they had never done the damn thing to begin with.

isn't that a teaser for countdown? I thought it was. and it's dumb how they ended up calling it countdown to final crisis... countdown had hardly anything to do with final crisis. grant morrison asked dan didio and everyone at DC to NOT use the new gods... but they didn't listen... I think final crisis would've been much better if they'd listened to grant morrison.

Everyone but Luthor looks so casual that he really looks out of place.
