Who else is excited about this?! I can't freaking wait! What are everyone's prediction on this? We obviously all already know that it's gonna be centered on Barry Allen's return. But I mean beyond that. Who's gonna be the main villain(s)? What kind of role is Wally West gonna play when it's over? Will all the Flash's survive by the end of the series? Will we see the Rogue's Gallery play a big part? The return of Reverse-Flash or Bart Allen, maybe? Will we finally get to see the Speed Force dimension?
I suspect he'll be the normal flash again before the series is over. and wally is supposed to get a new costume and hero name, and let barry be the only flash.
Totally. I see The Black Flash being much the same as Parallax was for Hal Jordan in GL: Rebirth. Barry will have to have a battle of wills against the Black Flash's consciousness for dominance. In the end, he will win (most likely with help from the other Flashes) and become a Flash again.

So I picked up The Flash: Rebirth #2 today, if you haven't read it stop reading now, spoilers are ahead.
I was kinda surprised that Wally was still running around as Flash (I missed issue #1) but I'm kinda confused and not sure what to make of the end.
Barry becomes Black Flash? I'm not really hip on the characters that use the Speedforce, but from what I read in the issue, Black Flash is like the Grim Reaper of the Speedforce. I was really hoping it was going to be the return of Barry as The Flash not a Flash spin-off character. Any thoughts or opinions about it?
I try to keep balance... I used to be a marvel guy, but recently I started catching up on all the DC I missed, and it was really fun... it was just a nice change, I'll probably switch back and forth a couple times more.
I'm not sure if Wally will continue being Flash or something else. But I know he will still play an important role in the DC Universe. I asked about it at the DC Panel at WonderCon and that's the answer I got.
So I've noticed that the majority of people here on Figure Realm seem to be either DC buffs or read both DC and Marvel. I'm so used to folks choosing one to the exclusion of the other...
Well at least there's the chance for a good story. Thank god mister "The only reason I took the job was so I could bring back Hal and Barry" Dido isn't going to be manning the helm.
