Off TopicI just read about this, but only a very select few comic shops are participating, and no suprise to me, mine isn't one of them. I was just wondering if anyone here on CCL is going to one? Let us know how it went, who was there, what was the freebies and incentives; just so I can be cool enough to live through your experience. Here's the info:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on eBay
Chris Claremont - Wrote X-Men for like 20 years (70s-early 90s), and put the book on top of the industry. Currently writing X-Men: Forever.
Greg Pak - Wrote the "Planet Hulk" storyline in Incredible Hulk.
Paul Jenkins - Wrote Spider-Man books in the late 90s, and some other stuff.
Mark Bagley - He's actually working for DC now, so that's kinda strange that he's there. Anyways, drew Amazing Spider-Man in the 90s, drew pretty much all of Ultimate Spider-Man, and is currently the artist for DC's Trinity
Jeph Loeb - A relatively new comic writer, but already has a lot under his belt: Superman/Batman (Created current Supergirl), Wolverine, Hulk (Current writer, created Red Hulk), Ultimates 3, Ultimatum. He is also the main writer of NBC's television series Heroes.
Mark Waid - Comic writing LEGEND. He has written more than I can name here, and it's all worthy. Some stuff: Flash v2 (Wally West) in the 90s, DC's Kingdom Come, JLA/Avengers, amongst other things.
Brian Michael Bendis - Wrote most of Ultimate Spider-Man and most of New Avengers, and writes like 75% of Marvel's books right now.
Ed Brubaker - Writer of the current series of Captain America, and the current mini-series Captain America: Reborn.
