Its kinda hard to say who would win. Chaos Magic is such an absurd unreliable but overpowered power. If Chaos Magic goes full chaos magic then I don't think many if anyone can beat the Avengers. If it doesn't work right then I gotta give it to the JLA
Wonder woman, Martian Manhunter, & Superman are close in strength meaning sentry may match them as may the hulk but realisticly Thor (& maybe Scarlet Withc) are the only ones who could hurt supes. I kinda feel Green lantern has no place here unless he fights scarlet witch. I think any of the avengers listed could stomp Green Lantern.
In closing. If chaos magic goes all OP like it tends to do then Avengers win. If it doesn't then JLA wins.
new Marvel team : Professor X (leader), Magneto, Silver Surfer, Hyperion, and Gladiator

Still, he's nothing to sneeze at.
I'd say Big Boss, only because Batman is not accustomed to fighting without his gadgets. A slight edge, but one a man as ruthless as Big Boss would be sure to capitalize on.
That's true, because monkey Grayson is Batman and Bruce Wayne is now dead. (That will change, it's just a matter of time) But if we were talking about Bruce Wayne, yeah, Bruce takes it no problem. Bruce has been taught by multiple martial arts masters. He is insanely obsessed about being the best and training. And he has no problem fighting dirty if need be. And he has taken out some of the most impressive metahumans in the DC Universe. He has even beaten Superman! Big Boss has never seen anything like a metahuman, he's only seen Captain America wannabes and modern ninjas.

I thought Batgirl owned Bruce in HtH.

Naked Snake (my brother and I have both determined that Naked Snake a.k.a. Big Boss in his prime would beat Solid Snake)
Vs.
Batman
This is a bare knuckle fight. No tools, no gadgets, no help from anyone.
My brother says Snake would win but I believe without shadow of a doubt that the Batman would win, hands down.
What do you guys think?
Does the Living Tribunal have these kind of abilities?
-Reality Warping
-Matter Manipulation
-Energy Manipulation
-Energy Projection
-Travels freely through time, space, and dimension
-Can alter his size, mass, and density
-Infinite energy & stamina coming from God himsef
-Instant Teleportation
-Incredible Mystical Abilities
-Flight
-Omniscience (meaning he knows all things at all times)
-Strength is off the charts (he's used planets as weapons against foes before!)
-Has no need or want for sleep, food, water, or air.
-Commands a Host of Angels who themselves are super-naturally powered, immortal beings.

Well as I said, I would assume some sort of scaling would happen to make things more even. DC is as you said pretty ridiculous with their power levels while Marvel's is more down to Earth (and one of the reasons I prefer Marvel, but that's neither here nor there). Scaling would happen whether the Hulk went to DC (and got stronger) or Superman went to Marvel (and got downgarded to a "mere" Class 100 Strength). Each Universe has different superhero physics, so to speak.
While the cosmic departments might be comparable, the problem I see is that while Marvel may be more popular, DC's regular characters are in a whole other league in terms of power. Guys like Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Flash, and Green Lantern are crazy powerful, and they AREN'T cosmic characters. How are Marvel's regulars like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, and Wolverine supposed to stand up to that kind of power?
-Nate-
As far as cosmic vs cosmic, that's what I asked in my last thread but never got an answer to. Burningdoom, you seem like a good source for DC... can you answer my query?
I ask because I really don't know. A friend who reads a lot of DC had told me that Marvel's cosmic universe was more powerful than DC's by far.
If they -are- equal, then there's no sense getting them involved in this "Marvel vs DC" thing, since I doubt they'd even get involved in what would essentially be a "whose manhood is bigger" contest anyway. Technically Thanos and Darkseid shouldn't even be involved due to their power, but they're in the pictures, so meh.
-Wizard Shazam
-ALL the Guardians of the Universe
-Parallax
-Darkseid
-High-Father
-The Spectre
-Krona
-The Anti-Monitor
-Nekron
-Lord Order
-Lord Chaos
-Sun-Eater
-Ion
-Neron
-Phantom Stranger
-Eclipso
-Takion
-Metron
I think the cosmic entities of each universe are just as comparable.
-Nate-
But I'm sure you don't want to compare cosmic entities. DC may have more powerful heroes, but Marvel's cosmic universe vastly exceeds DC's.
This was about heroes and villains, not cosmic beings. It's partially why (I'm sure) they had Iron Man facing off against Green Lantern instead of the Silver Surfer (who's power is off the charts since Annihilation).
As for the Beyonder, half his power (and all of Jim Shooter's) was sufficient to cow every cosmic entity in the Marvel Universe... well, until that unfortunate retcon, that is.

Avengers vs. JLA - The best Marvel/DC crossover event of all time! George Perez, the ultimate team artists and previous regular artist of both Avengers and Justice League of America pencils this one.
Marvel vs. DC - Answered some of those questions fans have always wondered about: Superman vs. Hulk, Batman vs. Captain America, Thor vs. Captain Marvel, Green Lantern vs. Silver Surfer, Wonder Woman vs. Storm, Catwoman vs. Elektra, and others.
Darkseid/Galactus: The Hunger - Great little gem of a comic that was passed by most mainstream fans.
Green Lantern/Silver Surfer: Unholy Alliances - Great team-up book where GL Kyle Rayner & Silver Surfer go up against Cyborg Superman and Thanos.
Spider-Man and Batman - Another great team-up book where Clone Spider-Man and Batman go up against The Joker and Carnage. Beautiful art in this one.
There's also the classics like Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man and Batman & The Incredible Hulk, but only get these if you're into the classics.

Thanos vs Darkseid... This is a really tough one. Both are master planners with an intellect that makes Doom and Richards look like scientific amateurs. Darkseid's Omega beams are impressive, but Thanos' teleportation tech as well as his own resilience and energy manipulation powers help even the playing field out. I give Darkseid the overconfidence flaw, and all Thanos has to do is exploit that to ensure a win. A tough call but I give it to Thanos, who's outsmarted the devil among other impressive feats.
Dr Doom vs Lex Luthor... "Bah. Doom cares not about such things as money. All the money in the world will not save you from Doom's wrath". We're talking about a normal human (very smart, true) vs an individual who's at least as smart garbed in one of the most sophisticated suits of battle armor on the planet and can also wield magic almost as well as Dr Strange. I almost feel sorry for Lex.
Green Goblin vs Joker... Again, we're talking about a normal insane guy dressed like a clown vs a superhuman insane guy armed to the gills with high tech weaponry. Who do you think would win?
Ultron vs Metallo... I've got no clue what Metallo's made of, but it had better be at least half as durable as True Adamantium if Metallo is even going to stand a chance.
Taskmaster vs Deathstroke... If Taskmaster has had time to study Deathstroke's fighting style, he'd win after a hard fought battle. Otherwise, Deathstroke is just too much for him. Taskmaster is after all only human, while Deathstroke is as close to Captain America as DC has.
Sabertooth vs (who I assume is) Gorilla Grod... I don't know anything about Gorilla Grod, but he's going to have to be pretty mean and strong to take on Creed.
Red Skull vs Ras Al Ghul... I honestly don't know enough about Ras to know which way this would go.
Magneto vs (no clue who that is)... Again, no idea.
I love me some Batman, but I give this fight to Cap.
The fight would be stellar and could honestly go either way depending on Batman's tactics and how long the fight goes on for.
Thanks, man. I try.
and punstarr I really respet u for going wt the logic side then going on the fan side...
The Punisher would just come out and shoot everybody with a minigun. There. Fight over. The end.
Ahhh, see I told you I didn't know a whole lot about Green Arrow.
I'm also not sure I'd say that Batman is anymore agile than Cap, cause he has pulled some crazy ass maneuvers before. Where I would say Batman truly comes out on top is gadgets and intelligence.
oh, and Green Arrow definitely has trick arrows just like Hawkeye.
One would think the difference in universal power level would scale... ie in the Marvel Universe Superman would "only" have Class 100 strength. In the DC universe the Hulk would be physically stronger than Superman. Superman's main shtick is his invulnerability, while the Hulk's main shtick is his strength. That said, I don't think the Hulk could get around Supes' superspeed.
Thor vs Superman... Thor's vastly superior fighting skill would help make up for his lack of superspeed, and Class 100+ strikes from Mjolnir would hit Superman like he was a mere human (magical attacks pass right through his invulnerability). After taking one hit like that, Superman would be a fool not to take the fight to where he has the advantage; the sky. Heat vision and lightning strikes would assail them both and the very heavens would tremble. I think it would come down to Thor's resilience (he would get the full benefit of his admittedly lesser invulnerability), Superman's speed and whether Thor's lightning counts as magic. Supes is fast, but I'm not sure he could dodge lightning amidst tornado-force winds. Thor fights to win, and has more battles under his belt than Superman by far.
Namor vs Aquaman... I don't care what happened in Marvel vs DC. Namor is a better fighter and stronger to boot. Plus he's the only Marvel character in this mix that can say he came first before his opponent. Due to the former points (not so much the latter, which was really just tongue in cheek), I give this fight to the Submariner.
Wonder Woman vs She Hulk... WW is nearly Thor level in her fighting skill and is stronger and tougher than She Hulk. Was there ever a doubt? Wonder Woman for the win.
Hawkeye vs Green Arrow... I don't know a whole lot about Green Arrow, but there's no way he's a better archer than Clint. I'd say they are equal in skill, so it's really a matter of equipment. Green Arrow (as far as I know) only uses regular arrows, while Hawkeye uses a variety of regular and high tech arrows that allow him far more adaptability. I give this one to Hawkeye, though it would not be an easy fight. The only chance Green Arrow has is being able to exploit Clint's brashness and force him to make a mistake.
Scarlet Witch vs Zatanna... No contest. A great sorceress vs what equates to a goddess who can reshape reality itself. Wanda takes this in less than a second.
Iron Man vs Green Lantern... Again, no contest. A high tech suit of armor vs the most powerful weapon in the DC universe. A more appropriate fight would have been the old Quasar vs Green Lantern.
Ms Marvel vs Power Girl... Oooh now there's a fight I'd like to see, if only because I'd want to see who rips the other's costume apart first, hehe. In the end I have to give it to Carol, because she has so much more going for her than just Super Strength and Nigh Invulnerability... her energy powers (really just a toned down version of her Binary powers) would give her the decided edge.
Quicksilver vs Flash... Would Pietro's speed scale up to Flash's level in the DC universe? If yes, then it would be a good fight, though I think the Flash has more experience using his speed to his utmost advantage. If no, then QS may as well be standing still. Pietro can run at approximately 600 mph... The Flash can run at the speed of light.
Vision vs Martian Manhunter... It's the battle of the characters with undefined powers! I honestly don't know nearly enough about MM to make a call here.
Falcon vs Hawkman... Hawkman is a better fighter, straight up. I'm not sure if Hawkman has super Strength, but if he does, Falcon is toast in one punch.
Captain America vs Batman... The coolest fight in the whole mix! Despite what others may think, Captain America is physically superior to Batman in every area but agility, and in agility they're equal. Cap is naturally gifted at hand to hand combat and doesn't fatigue. Batman is one of DC's premiere hand to hand fighters. Hand to hand, I think Batman's skill is trumped slightly by Cap's skill and physical superiority (imagine if Bane were as fast as Batman and as good a fighter as Cap). That said, Batman could win if he fought more like a ninja than a warrior... striking and hiding... striking from a distance in surprise, etc. In a straight up hand to hand fight Batman would lose. In the end, whoever won would have to admit that their opponent was one of the toughest fights they've ever had.
Took that statement a little tough didn't ya?
As far as who would win, that's hard to say but I would agree with whiskeytango, DC super heroes are written to be more powerful. For instance, I read somewhere the Hulk at his base strength(before getting super pissed) could lift 100 tons, well I also read that Superman can lift 1,000,000 tons.....its a totally different standard.
