Poll: Just how good a fighter really is Deadpool?

Off TopicThere seems to be a lot of contradiction as to how good Deadpool is at the ole' hth. A lot of this is who happens to be writing him, but it certainly seems like over the years he's gone from ridiculously lethal to sometimes awesome but often a joke.
Personally, I prefer to think of him as a crazy deadly guy who just gets too distracted sometimes to compete, but I'm interested to hear what others think.

Incredible: Superior talent with training. Example: Wolverine/Nick Fury
both wolvie and fury should be at
Amazing: Maximum human potential. Example: Captain America/Taskmaster
since nick is affected by the infinty formula, and can't age, so with his age he jsut keeps getting better, same goes for wolvie, plus his healing factor prevents him from getting tired so he can train harder, so become better more easily than others, plus suporting that adamantium weight is exercise full time, so he must be far better than a human can be if he trained his all life, that's why I like the way humberto ramos draws wolvie with enormous arms.
I'd place Punisher or gambit in the
Incredible: Superior talent with training
As a side note, it's not my table. It's TSR/Marvel's.
That was one writer's take. Wolverine effortlessly defeated Shang Chi once in a Wolverine comic, but one instance doesn't mean Wolverine's a better HtH combatant than the Master of Kung Fu. Hulk (relatively calm) held up an entire mountain weighing billions of tons in Secret War. That doesn't mean he's actually that strong. Until you see consistency with a given character performing feats like these, you can't really take them into account.
Deadpool is what we call a tongue-in-cheek character... he's not meant to be taken entirely seriously. 75% of the time he's written with comedy in mind rather than drama. This is the same guy who regularly breaks the 4th wall. She Hulk is the same way. Imo, you can only really take them seriously when they're appearing in a title other than their own. Deadpool in his own book is just too goofy for me to take seriously. No offense intended to Deadpool fans... just my take.
Also, Deadpool beat Taskmaster with his hands tied once, so he's at the very least on the same level as him, if not above it.
I tend to base my opinion on the ranks from the old TSR Marvel Super Heroes RPG ranks table. Fighting was an attribute in that system. It went like this:
Feeble: No fighting talent. Example: Children or Elderly
Poor: Normal human fighting ability. Example: Your average Joe
Typical: Minimal training. Example: Street Thug
Good: Some formal training. Example: Police Officers/Basic Armed Forces
Excellent: Regular, formal training. Example: Advanced Armed Forces
Remarkable: Superior talent. Example: Spider-Man/UFC Contenders
Incredible: Superior talent with training. Example: Wolverine/Nick Fury
Amazing: Maximum human potential. Example: Captain America/Taskmaster
Monstrous: Superhuman superior talent. Example: Warriors of Asgard
Unearthly: Superhuman with intensive training. Example: Thor/Gamora
Deadpool is either at Remarkable or Incredible Fighting imo. Gambit is at Remarkable. I think if Gambit used his powers he would have a good chance of winning... though I could see him buying his way out of the fight as well just to be sure.
I really have to disagree with the Gambit part though. Gambit once payed off Deadpool because he thought that fighting him would be tantamount to suicide.
Also, you're probably right about Gamora, but I didn't feel like giving her her own tier when she is clearly better than Deadpool anyways, and thus it would get zero votes. Perhaps I shouldn't have bother listing her.
Also, Iron Fist should be up there with Wolverine and Cap. He and Shang Chi -define- HtH.
As to Deadpool, I see him as being second tier as far as HtH combatants go. Out of his own book (where his writer is biased), I see Wolverine or Sabertooth owning Wade in HtH. That is, a straight HtH conflict. No teleporting, no swords, no guns, etc... A good match up for Deadpool would be vs Gambit.
