You may be on to something there. Wolverine is usually drawn with some pointy k9 teeth and that skull doesn't have them. It definitely has to be someone with ties to either Galactus or the Infinity Gems.

Well considering Marvel penchant for including Wolverine in everything, it wouldn't surprise me if thats what that was supposed to be, but I'm still going to with Silver Surfer.
Except we haven't seen anything to indicate that the Surfer's bones are chrome like his skin. In Annihilation, the Surfer's outer shell cracked, revealing it was just an external coating. You could see Norrin's normal skin underneath.
So someone over at the CCL boards suggested that the skull could be Silver Surfer's, and not Wolverine's. That makes more sense, Silver Surfer fits more in theme with Galactus and Infinity Gems.
