Need help with repairing broken toy part.

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Hello I've just bought my first Revoltech action figure today which was Sanada Yukimura from the Yamaguchi series.

When I was trying to insert the headband it accidentaly broke and the broken plug got stuck in the hole (Impossible to take out).

I googled and looked through some forums regarding this problem and found the 'replace part with a bolt' method.

Unfortunately, this won't work here since the broken plastic bolt is only about 1mm. I don't really want to use glue either (I'm afraid gluing such a small part will only damage the other parts with glue smudge etc.)

If needed I could post some pictures.

Thanks in advance!

I Really think A needle Will Do The Job Jost Stab it in through the headband & into the broken peg A small Drop Of Krazy Glue Will Do the Trick ! .

Is there any reason superglue won't work for this? If your just trying to attach the headband that seems like the easiest thing to try first. Seems a bit easier than trying to replace the peg. I've never seen this figure so forgive me if thats a stupid suggestion.

Needle sounds good!

The problem is how would I attach the needle to the headband? The headband is a long and thin fragile piece of plastic and I wouldn't want to break that

Thanks guys

could also use a needle. You could find one of about 1mm and they are super strong.

You Could Use The Metal Pin From A Krazy Glue Cap .
1st -Just Heat It W/ A Lighter & Remove It (W/ Some Needle Nose Pliers For Safety) From The Green Cap That Needle Is Short Enough To Place the sharp end In The headband
2nd - You need to make A small starter hole in the head band & head Use The Pliers To Hold The Needle Securely then Make The Holes .
3rd - Insert the blunt end in to the headband & insert the sharp end into the head But before you do Add A small Drop of Krazy Glue on The needle then Insert It into the head .
this Is What I Would Do I Know You Don't Want To Glue Anything But Its Just A Suggestion !
