Force unleashed II

Posted in Off Topic

I was considering buying it but I've read some pretty terrible reviews of it, I loved the first one and don't really see how they could go wrong. I'm not usually one to go by what the reviewers say and I'd rather make my own mind up but £40 is a lot to loose. So my question is, is it as bad as I've heard??

You know, I think it does Shin, was thinking of trading a few games in to get it cheaper but now I'm thinking I'll keep those games and wait for a preowned copy, even though I do love Starwars the less money I have to give to Lucas the better , Cheers mate

The first one was really good with its story and just the way it made you feel like a jedi. It just felt rather short or so I thought. I got this one for the Wii.

However I rented the Force Unleashed 2(for the 360) and was expecting an even more gratifying experience but I was left somewhere in the middle. The gameplay was decent and more fun than the last and just little things like chopping up storm troopers apart stood out. The developers definitely made it so that you felt like a bada$$ jedi but too quick. The story was pretty watered down and straight forward (don't want to ruin it for you). To me at least, the story just lacked what the first one had. I did beat the game first on easy which I shouldn't have considering how easy and fast I went through it (I wanted to make sure I got to see the ending before I took it back lol.) I think about 4-5 hours. And really I could've beat it faster than that if I didn't waste time trying to find cubes. After I beat it though I went back and played it on unleashed mode and got halfway through nearly as fast, but had to take it back. This mode is probably the way you want to go in order to get more time out of it. It does have some pretty neat features and the graphics are really amazing to look at. And some sweet alternate costumes and sabers. If your a Star Wars fan you'll more than likely like it because of what it is.

So Darth, it's definitely worth a rental, but I wouldn't suggest spending that much money for the game just yet. Its worth buying for $20.00, but definitely not worth the $60.00 price tag. Hope this helps you with your decision.
