pokemon games

Posted in Off Topic

I like pokemon games, from red and blue to black and white, and anything in between! I was playing white version a lot for a while and it was really good. Thought I beat it but then they gave me a bunch more stuff to do. I like the n64/gamecube/wii games too. I have thousands of other video games but I just noticed that there wasn't a post for pokemon games (unless I missed it) but I have seen people mention pokemon here and there in random threads and I even saw a few customized pokemon figures, so I was just wondering who likes the games.

Lol I can't even remember the last one I played but I remember my main Pokemon was a Wigglytuf =p that sucker murdered people. I'd put them to sleep then use that Punch move that you had to learn from some item or something.

Good times, good times.

I enjoyed playing Pokémon, any kind of it. Because when I am playing of it, I feel that I am traveling too from town to town with my Pokémon as a pet.

Still a big fan of the entire genre of pokemon. Games, toys, and cartoon (though its been sucking this series). Always looking forward to the next game and next movie!

I hope you're very happy with yourself . on the plus side though, I don't think you can catch Bulbasaur (who evolved into venasaur if I'm not mistaken) in yellow either so trading one would have been the only way to complete his pokedex. You didn't get the choice in yellow like you did in blue and red it was Pikachu or pikachu.

Actually, you can get bulbasaur in yellow. The Pikachu you start with in Yellow is the ONLY Pikachu you can get in that game. That kid never replaced that Pikachu, and probably has two Venasaurs.

you should get black or white version then( the opposite color your daughter has). It's REALLY good! And it seems different that all the other ones a bit. If you've played all the older ones, you come to expect certain things while you're playing, and in black/white, you notice they've changed it. Like one of the biggest differences, there's NO old pokemon in the main part of the new game. No pikachu, no hundreds of magikarps and tentacools in the water, just new pokemon.

Invis. Don't feel any shame. I love the pokemon games. I play Daimond all the time. I have so many pokemon trained and named after friends and family. I'm sad cuz I don't have pokemon Black and White

you just reminded me of something evil I did - I saw a kid with yellow version one time and he saw I had a venusaur (maybe lv 30 - 60) and he wanted it so I told him I'd trade it for his pikachu (the starter in that game that follows you around). If any of you know about that game, thats pretty much the main focus having that pikachu and it's the only one in the game that will follow you, and I took it from him But I had read that it's the only way to get the "light ball" item and I wanted that item. Poor kid, I hope he was really happy with the venusaur.

I used to love my Pokemon Yellow, I had a Pikachu who was well maxed out and I wouldn't let him evolve into Raichu coz I wanted to be like Ash . The last one I played was Emerald on the advance, just didn't get that into it though. I kinda think they went a bit far really I mean the first lot had like 150 pokemon, 151 counting mew and then all the other Pokemon turned up, I don't even know how many there are now but I'm guessing 50 odd new per set of games then there's like 4 sets so I'm guessing there's like 350 odd Pokemon to be caught and that's a whole lot of 'em to catch.

I don't really play Pokemon anymore, but I was really into it for a while when I was younger. I've still got the original Pokemon Blue for Gameboy, Pokemon Pinball for Gameboy Color, and the Tetris Attack style Pokemon game for N64. I've got a handful of the PVC toy figures lying around too (the ones that came with the pogs and the big transparent Pokeballs).

If you like Pokemon, I highly recommend DemiKids Light/Dark for Gameboy Advance. It's very similar, but centered around demons (in a kidified sort of way) and an offshoot of the Megami Tensei RPG series (Reincarnation of The Goddess).
