While we won’t post the actual photos ourselves, we will point to the links for Kilowog and Abin Sur/Tomar Re. We’ll withold judgment as to the authenticity of the images until we have confirmation, but the characters represented DO track with statements by Campbell last week that confirmed the presence of Kilowog, Tomar Re, and Abin Sur in the script.
Absolutely amazing! This was, BY FAR, the best episode of Smallville, EVER! Not an ounce of teen drama in this episode. This was a love-letter by a true DC Comics fan. I was excited throughout the entire thing and I can't wait to see more.
I felt that as incredible as this episde was, this was just a precursor to things to come. It seemed like they were setting up for a wave of new heroes coming, and maybe the beginning of the roots of the Justice League.
There were so many comic references I picked up (other than the obvious JSA heroes, Martian Manhunter, and Icicle). I'm sure I won't even remember them all or didn't even catch them all to begin with. Let's see:
-Chloe gets coffee at Radu's Coffee shop. Radu's Coffee Shop was the shop under Kyle Rayner's apartment building in New York back when he was the only Green Lantern. -That guy that Lois was talking to that she thought was Clark and really wasn't because she didn't turn around, the one looked like Clark Kent from the comics. -Superman's Cape in Dr. Fate's vision. -Lois mentioned that she was working on a story about Michael Holt before she started uncovering the JSA stuff. Michael Holt is the modern Mister Terrific. -The Golden Age Green Lantern's Power Battery & Power Ring was in the display case at The Brownstone Museum as was The Golden Age Flash's helmet and Wildcat's boxing-gloves. -Chloe mentions dirty messages Green Arrow got from "Canary" (as in Black Canary) that she found while doing her tech-snooping. -Professor Hamilton (from S.T.A.R. Labs in DC Comics) makes another appearance.
I can't wait to see what's coming from the rest of this season! If this episode was this awesome, then the season finale must be killer!
I trully enjoy smallville especially more recently (since season 7 its gotten REALLY good). I love the fact that like burningdoom said you get real super villains plus you get some awesome cameos like Mia Deardan "Speedy" made her debut not that long ago.
Great thing this season is that it's actually centered around comic book-type storylines and real supervillains rather than the stupid "Does Lana love Clark, can Clark really be with Lana?" bullcrap that it used to be. And Geoff Johns, the best comic writer, is writing many episodes this season including the 2-hour "Absolute Justice" which brings in the Justice Society of America. He already did a wicked Legion of Super-Heroes episode.

I couldn't count how many chills I got at all the references in the show. Won't spoil it for anyone though.

I'm not knocking it... heck, I bought the first season recently, but I thought this was an older show.
I like it. I am getting psyched for this.
I like them except for Tomar-Re which looks like he has the Symbiote
