well as for story I agree with you yes the first two are much better but once you have seen them all I think the third one is more fun to watch because of all the action you get what im saying

The first two are awesome, then the 3rd one... ugh it just got crammed with characters and everyone lost any dimension they had, Magneto went from an allegory for Malcolm X to a cookie cutter villain. They pointlessly killed off characters. Fight scenes are nice and all, but it's gotta have substance. But I'm a huge film snob so maybe I'm too picky.
