star wars the clone wars getting darker?

I was watching last weeks star wars the clone wars with savage opress in it, the guy that looks like darth maul, but anyway my friend thought it was a lot more violent than the other episodes and should have been tv 14. I however I did not notice to much of a difference. Anyone else notice a difference?

It reminds me of the 3rd season of transformers after the movie. It got super dark compared to anything else out at the time. Apparently Liam Neeson's back for this next 3 parter.

yeah that is one of the reasons I like it to is because it is realistic unlike most other tv cartoons

One of the reasons I enjoy the star clone wars show so much is that unlike most kid shows it can be quit violent. I hate shows that have huge battles where no one ever gets killed (the last air-bender show is an example of this).
