How Adventure time should end.

Posted in Off Topic

In the ultimate series finale I'd explain how the world of the show came about. as it ends the fantasy world begins to unravel as the real world creeps in. Fynn is a lone survivor of the nuclear war they hint about in the show with jake being his only companion, his dog, in the real world. He dreams of the weird food creatures because living in the radioactive ruins he is starving and his mind is messing with him. The vampire girl he loves in the series was his real life girlfriend before the war and he dreams of her as a vampire to push away the memory of her death from whatever post war horror that got her. All this would become clear as Fynn awakens among the ruins and we see what a brutal landscape the world is and that many of the main characters are based on people he encountered in the real world. we also see that he considers himself the last human due to not seeing anyone for a while and that he's slowly dying and many of the adventures were radiation induced fever dreams.

That sounded dirty

and you're the one who said it in the first place lol. Actually they could make a version of adventure time for adult swim since it's halfway there already lol. I bet it's going to get darker in spots as fynn is supposed to talk about the war more in this new season. The more I watch it the more I notice all the prewar relics they sneak into shots. I mean there's even a nuke bomb at the very start of the opening lol.

I personally like the idea but I also realize this is a kids show. Worlds dark enough and they have their entire lives to learn that. Its pointless to force it down a kids throat before they are ready

I love your idea Seph. It'll probably never happen, but I've seen stranger things.

lol. Well it's already pretty dark at times. I guess I'm used to watching twilight zone and such when I was little and seeing fairly dark tv shows in the 80s.
