I forgot to post this last week but the new thundercats first half of the season is on DVD now I saw it at walmart for $15 so hopefully well see new episodes soon.

I just can't wait for it to start again, haven't really watched cartoon network since motu. so thank you thundercats.

According to thundercatslair.org you guys have a six week break while we catch up, then the season continues but we then get them at the same time as you do. So we may have had to wait till after America but now you have to wait for us. Thats evened that out then.

The DVR doesn't show friday's episode (9-23) as a new one just says it's "sword of omens". I think they're starting it over. Must have only done a half season of episodes.

yeah noticed that today, must be because of the new seasons of star wars and other shows. do hope it is on next week though.

Doesn't look like it's on tonight so it must be a break between seasons or episodes.

I have really enjoyed this cartoon as well, never watched the original. hope it lasts for a long time, very well done.

So far this series has been fantastic!! I really hope they can keep this going beyond a couple season. Love the nods to Silverhawks and Tiger Sharks from the episode a few weeks ago.

Agreed, I think a lot of shows could learn a few lessons from the cats.

It's funny how the toys won't even be in our stores till after you get the DVD, yeah about as funny as a kick in the....... thunderballs!!

Season 1 book 1 dvd set hits stores on October 18th. I wish hasbro would see this show and redo gi joe and transformers right (and hire the writers of this show)

I used to watch the original and was on board on watching,but when I discovered that will friedle was voicing then I discovered it was like an anime version I almost j###Ed my pants only thing would make this show awesomer if it had crispin Freeman.

Man this new series is so great, the animation, the new darker side to the Thundercats, they are the oppresors which kind of fits in with my thoughts on the original. In the original the Tcats crash land on third earth where Mumm-ra is quite happily ruling his planet then along come the cats and say no mumm-ra we're not having this. So really they invaded third earth.

Young Panthro looks waaaaay better than old Panthro but I'm starting to like him, he has the same attitude as the original.

Slithe looks very close to the original showing the 80s cartoon was way ahead of its time

Love all the nods to the original that keep us Thunderdads happy, "You're stepping on my Samo-flange"

Man I could go on and on and on and on but I won't. There's not one thing I don't like about this series, thundercats is back and it's AWESOME.......HOOOOOOOOO!!

I caught the Thundercats cartoon and fell in love. I mean so many flawed characters (I think its good to have some question of morals in my cartoons). Animation was great! Voice acting was top notch(that voice works way better for lion-o then it does duke) it was just overall great!

it will be well worth the wait or you could probably look it up on youtube. I was able to watch the avengers cartoon to the end even before it finish airing here.

I was just happy to see animation that was not so halfa$$ed but fine and detailed and the good guy actually punched badguys. I was stoked to see this version I was a fan of the original as a kid and I'm a fan as an adult still I can't wait for the new figures to come out now.

I completely second that on both accounts. Never watched the original cartoon, but liked the update. As for MOTU I will forever await a 3rd season and beyond, that I will never have.

I thought it was fantastic! I just hope it doesn't get cancelled too soon like the MOTU remake.
