Report: America's sheriff Andy Griffith dead at 86 - TODAY Entertainment

Sadly I doubt many younger folks even know of him or would even try and watch a lot of his stuff but for generations he was the best tv dad, on a few occasions a really evil villain, and towards the end everyone's favorite slightly out of whack lawyer.

It's a very sad thing indeed. Watched every episode myself, and very much appreciated the show. Very sad.

I grew up watching the andy Griffith show, and to this day its still my all time favorite show..RIP andy ,youll be missed
