TDK movie masters paint question

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

What kinda' paints are used on the movie masters TDK belts? I think I accidentaly scratched off a bit of silver from the belt of an extra figure which btw was dipped in hot water for 50 secs or a minute...a little below boiling point to move the hip joint..do you think it might have effected the paint? or is it common ? does boiling or hot water have negative effects on figures?

The Black Sharpie Turns Purple In A Few Moments After It Drys But It Looks Good & Stays Black IF You Seal It But the silver turns into A steel grey color If You Seal It But It Keeps A Good Color If You Use A Lite Coat Of Krazy Glue .

You Might Have To Seal It W/ Some Paint Sealer Or A lite Coat Of Krazy Glue .

I think the Hot water Softens the Paint But that Should Be Ok after it cools. It Might wash Off Some Mold Release from the Figure But Not All Of it . As For The Silver Paint Just Give It A Touch Up With Some Other Silver Paint Or Maybe A Silver Sharpie I Do That Some Times.

aahh...I see man..thanks for the info yeah I'll try the sharpie thing..hope it stays there for good...it does right??
