I thought I'd share an odd dream-cameo I had last week:
Amidst a particularly shifting dream sequence, I realized I was running across a wreckage-strewn beach beside Deadpool. However, he was dressed in his costume, modified to look like... Snake Eyes.
Startled, I asked "Why are you dressed like Snake Eyes?"
Deadpool's reply? "Shhh! So no one recognizes me!"
Makes sense to me, I thought. The dream continued as Snake-Pool ran off into the Dreamlands.
After I woke up, I realized with the various hybrid-Deadpool customs out there, I'd be surprised if no one's tried doing this one before.
It's actually pretty reasonable, I mean a lot of people guessed my Snake Eyes was Dead Pool before he was done being painted and having a properly sculpted head.
I remember those, they looked really awesome. If you ever make a Snake-Pool, it'd be awesome to toss a quote from his Dream-self in there justifying how one ninja can disguise himself as another, better known ninja.
My current in-progress bench is filled with a series of 10 different Post Apoclyptic figures (ranging from Mad Max/Fallout style characters to ones from the Terminator series), so I figure I'd let someone else bring Snake-pool to life.
The way he looked in the dream (the beach reminded me of the D-Day scene in Saving Private Ryan) was a classic Deadpool costume with Snake eye-accessories and visor. I'd certainly smile if I see one posted to the FR custom gallery one day.
