Toy department shrinkage

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

I was talking to a buddy and he reminded me of a punisher figure he got me and it got me thinking. back from 2000-2007 the walmart my dad worked at had a massive toy section, entire areas for transformers and marvel legends and when they reorganized the store these shrank in length by half and there are only like 4 mini isles when there used to be like 6 or more larger ones. Has anyone else noticed this?

I agree but I end up doing ebay/amazon since there isn't a tru or target within an hour of me. I also buy import transformers so takara/tomy gets most of the cash.

Well if you don't like it spend your money at Target and TRU.

Hit wal-Mart where it hurts....there wallet.

I mean some of that crap I was glad to see go but the good stuff all vanished too, now they're cramming stuff all over the place. My dad's store has ROTF figures all over the blasted place and they never go anywhere.

Yeah awhile back Wal-Mart reduced their toy space for a lot of their stores.

It was pretty big news on some other fourms.
