Lil wayne ?

hes not real hip hop, its basically the pop equvalent, its just lame compared to the likes of krs one, cypress hill, beastie boys, 90's wu-tang, public enemy, slick rick and afrika bambada, just off the top of my head some artists who are shyyt loads better than this lil wayne, there is no substance or artistic value to his music, the only reason people like it or grow to like it or forced to endure it is because its so comercial that its the only thing you hear on the radio or movies that by defalt you like. On top of that young kids are not given much a choice on any good hip hop. so they end up praising fools like lil wayne, RANT RANT RANT. god bless you punstar that you have never heard of him you are physical, intellectualy and spiritual better off than those who have.

its the same for me I hate Jay Z, linken Park, Godsmack on CD but love them live. I don't know I think Weezy is okay but not "the best rapper alive"

He's fairly good, not the best. I listened to most of his stuff, the songs have a catch, but not a lot of meaning. He's good, but other rappers are better.
