TNA is Getting REALLY Good!

I just watched last week's episode of Impact on my DVR and damn! I haven't seen a wrestling show that good in YEARS! TNA is quickly becoming a powerhouse, imo. I'd compare them with 90s WCW, and they're definetly better than the current WWE product. It's fresh, it's new, it's exciting, and it doesn't repeat itself and hold itself up on a pedastool like the modern WWE is doing.
The main storyline is with the Main Event Mafia. A group of wrestlers who came together out of mutual respect, and out of a feeling of disrespect coming from the younger generation of stars. This is how a wrestling stable should be put together: Leader=Kurt Angle, Sting, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, and Booker T. They are DOMINATING TNA right now. I know it all sounds like an nWo rip-off, and maybe it is, I don't care, it's done well and I'm happy with pro-wrestling again! Well this week Kurt Angle and Sting get into it because Kurt's jealous of Sting having the World Title. Of course he tries to cover it all up with some crap about respect. But the cool thing is that they had an empty arena match. No officials, no referees, no managers, no allies, no staff, not even any fans. Only Sting, Kurt Angle, Camera Crews, and Announcers. Pretty original.
But not only was the main event story good this week, but the mid-card and X-Division battles were good too! The match between The Motor City Machine Guns and the team of Consequences Creed and Black Machismo was amazing! Those guys are just as talented as Rey Mysterio or the Hardy Boyz when it comes to high flying and fash-moving wrestling! I'm predicting that Big Hernandez of LAX is going to be the next big thing, just watch. He's got the power and charm wrapped-up in one, he just needs to break away from LAX, they're holding him back. I can't believe Petey Williams is gone. I mean, I was never a huge Petey Williams fan, but it's just that he was a face of TNA. When I thought of TNA originals, he was one of the guys that immeadiatly came to mind. But I am liking Beer Money Inc. Dominating heels make such better heels.
Some pretty funny lines too. When Scott Steiner is questioned about Samoa Joe's threats from last week he had this to say:
"You think I'm scared of Samoa Joe?! Just because he gets a haircut and paints his face? He's still a fat man"
When Rhyno is talking about how dangerous the empty arena match will be between Sting and Kurt Angle he lists a bunch of common injuries that happen in wrestling that would be worse if it wasn't for staff being there. Bubba Ray Dudley cuts in and says:
"I once tore an ab doing crunches."
Sounds about like me. And of course the ongoing joke about D-Von and fat chicks, I laugh at every one!
TNA Impact is on every Thursday night at 9 pm on Spike TV.

The show was real good this week. Everything was build right.
Sting is one of the main reason for me to watch the show. I never seen sting went that crazy after an interview..at the last segment of show I mean. The fight was short, but it had a feel to it. Like kurt and sting really hate each others. I wish sting and kurt would had brawl a little longer. You know like how bret heart and sting did it back in the wcw era. Nwo wolf pack vs nwo black and white.
Nice view on the show. Hopefully this week will be even better.
Take care
Bye:-)
