Sounds pretty cool. If the technology isn't complicated to use, then I can easily see this overtaking the gaming market, especially with the TV Plug-In and Controller included. They already have some top-name game developers behind them, companies such as Electronics Arts, Atari, UbiSoft and others were named. I'm sure others will follow if it's successful. But without any 1st-Party Franchises like Halo, Mario, or Zelda; I doubt it will completely replace consoles. Unless they were smart and created an equally popular exclusive franchise. Imagine how much cheaper gaming would be, oh we can only hope.

tell me about it. my pc is a year old and anything marked "Games for windows" runs slow on it at times. It's my own fault for not getting a better card but I didn't think that these companies would force you to buy a high end gaming pc.

for me, the draw of onlive will be the pc only games. right now, if I want to play crysis, it will cost me $150 because I have a two year old graphics card. there are a few games out there that are just barely above my system specs, so I haven't tried them. eventually I will spend the money to upgrade my pc, but then, 6 months, a year after that, I will run into the same problem.

if this thing works (which I am still skeptical) then it will get many people the opportunity to play the newest games without having to race technology on their end. I hope it works, could be pretty cool.

I agree. I really don't like steam. It costs the same to download through them or buy the disk and they stop you from doig anything with the games after you're done with them. no trades/sales/or even giveaways. I know they got a lot of flack for FEAR 2 being on steam and many people went for the console versions.

I really do not belive in this idea, it will fail pretty bad if you ask me.I mean the steaming games aren't going to be free. They will surley cost just as much as the console/PC
counterpart, making this thing entierly pointless. And why do they call this thing revolutionary? Steam has been out for several years steaming games! My two cents.
