Trade Your Media Online!

Posted in Off Topic

I'm a member of this site called SwitchPlanet.com There you can trade CDs, DVDs, Video Games from all eras, Books, and Comic Books online. The sweet thing is, you don't have to have an exact item for another exact item. Instead, the way it works is:

You put up whatever you want to trade up for trade on the site. Someone requests your item, you send it, and when that person receives the item you get "Switchbucs" which is credit you can use on the site to request someone else's items.

And if someone is a sneaky SOB that thinks he can swindle you, SwitchPlanet has you protected. If someone never marks an item as returned despite you sending it, SwitchPlanet will return the Switchbuc amount that you sold the item for to you. And if an item is lost by the post office, then SwitchPlanet will grant BOTH the seller and the buyer their full Switchbucs back. And there is also a feedback system so you can try to avoid the shady characters before there is even a problem.

I have used the site for about a year and a half, and have had over 100 "switches", and I've only had 1 problem which SwitchPlanet refunded me over. It is a GREAT site and a great way to save money. But I want more comic items available on the site, badly! Please check the site out and have some happy switching!

I personally have up 100s of comics for switch, and a couple dozen hard rock/metal CDs. As well as a small handful of video games. I'm also BurningDoom over there.

They also do contests. All you have to do is send an email with your info and your entered in the contest, no strings attached. I just won a like-new DVD copy of Friday the 13th Part V!

Oh, be forewarned: The site is running a little slow lately, I don't know what's going on, I hope it's temporary. This has never happened before. Just certain things like Comment Submissions are taking longer, but still work.
