Well freddy looks like he needs to go get some plastic surgery.
Jason looks like he's ready to play a game of hockey.
Leatherface looks like hes ready to kill, but he also looks like your grandma.
Mike Myers looks like he just killed someone, and that he wants to go get someone else to kill.
Norman Bates looks like your friends dad.
Scream killer looks like hes been playing dress up for too long.
Jigsaw looks like he's too old for this job.
And Hannibal lecter looks like he's ready to eat your face off, yes, but he's smart! Slashers arent smart! Theyre pyscho!

Freddy Krueger! also the name of the killer from scream is Ghostsface and does Dr Lecter really count as a slasher? same with jigsaw..... not really a slasher. but freddy is a slasher! and he is funny! best ever.

I'm going to have to go with Freddy Krueger.

When it comes to Jason, the fact that all his killings are in one area, you think the goverment would just close off the area after the five hundreth person is murdered there. Leatherface, frightening yes, but more pitiful than anything once you know his story. Michael Myers is the most easily avoidable slasher. Just walk at a brisk pace and you can out run him! Jigsaw...I just can't stand the Saw movies. Pure torture porn, nothing else.

Freddy is really unbeatable. Brutal, neigh-omnipotent, you got to love the Krueger.

well if you have lector you might want to mention the serial killer he was after in the movie silence of the lambs... now that guy was creepy.. what was the dudes name...

I think Jason is the best because he kills with style and has a depressing past full of hatred.So his Mental state is out of control leading to long sttrings of victims.(300!!!!)
