I've noticed a lot of people raving about heath ledgers joker portrayal!!! me personally I think he sucked. as a life long batman fan the new demented dark joker makes me sick. was it because of heath ledgers death? I have always liked the goofy funny joke playing joker, not some dark evil twisted joker. just looking for opinions here so lets hear it new joker vs old one I prefer the Jack Nicholson joker myself.
The ability to portray every character in the Batman franchise in a hundred different ways is one of the thigns that makes the franchise amazing. The reason I liked Heath's Joker was because it was new, while most people accentuate on the giggling clown criminal or a mix between that and the mastermind, Heath's leaned more towards the master criminal, and partially delved into his psychotic relationship with Bats, it's something I've never seen outside the comics, so it was great to watch
Though played my numerous people the Joker is still the Joker. He was twisted and evil in Dark Knight yes but hes the type pf guys that would set up a box in the middle of Gotham looking like a bomb with a cream pie inside to splat someone in the face! The Joker was like this all the time in the comics and Animated series because his attitude was all based on the mood he was in!
whoa there were four jokers... cesar romero, the one with the mustache! All the jokers were good and brought something interesting to the table. I don't think I have a favourite between heath, cesar, mark, or jack. all great choices for the role.... unlike val kilmer or george clooney as batman
Jack Did A Great Job But I Totally Dugg Heath As The Joker I Also Thought I Dugg him because Well He Died But I Did Sit Down & Watch Bolth Movies Back To Back & Im Happy We got bolth Proformances to choose From Because Jack Was Fun,Crazy & The Guy Hac The Killer Smile not to forget The lines " where Does he get such wonderful toys " Thats Classic. Heath Was Dark ,Creepy ,Weird & Funny Also Psyhotic Homicidal flat out ANARCHY ! I have to say Heath Rocked But Again it comes to A coin Flip for Me or it depends on how I feel when I want to watch A Batman Movie Do I Want to watch the Joker Die At the End of the movie or do I want to see A movie where the Joker Lives But the Actor Who Portrayed Him Died ( So No Hope To See Him Playing the Joker Again ) I guess im Undecided but bolth rocked as the Clown Prince Of Crime !
If I Have to Pick I Wil Go With Heath the New Joker he apeels more to me As A head case that wants to watch the world burn & I can identify with that !
I definetly agree Mark Hamill's Joker was dark. That's the joker I grew up knowing.Other than Hamills I like Heath's never saw Jack's not too interesting in seeing it either.
I think all of the best jokers have been dark, evil, and twisted, and I bet you and I like some of the same jokers. I enjoyed the heath ledger joker very much. I was never a ledger fan before the dark knight, but I think he did a wonderful job, in part because of the wonderful writing. I don not think the dark knight joker was the best joker by any means, but he was good.
my favorite joker is probably the darkest, most evil, and most twisted joker ever. the mark hammill animated series joker. to me, that is the ideal. and if you think he was just goofy and not dark, watch the flash back scene in batman beyond: return of the joker. he is the sickest most sadistic batman villain there is.
despite the great joker portrayal by mr. ledger, I still would have loved to see mark hammill in the part, live action.
But...
Both Jack and Hamil are great too.
It's 3 jokers for 3 diffrent eras. All are good.
Jack wins as far as live action goes...but Hamill's joker owns my heart forever.
