Hulk Hogan Returns to the Ring

Posted in Off Topic

Check out http://www.tnawrestling.com It's now official!

HELL FREAKING YEAH!!! What was already the greatest wrestling organization in the world today just got better! And I hope to god that it is indeed true that Eric Bischoff is back as well. Look out Vinnie Mac! The man who whooped your arse before is back for a 2nd round!

I know some of you guys are thinking "Dang, he's too freaking old!" I don't care, though. He could be wandering out of the arena from Ahlzheimer's at the age of 90, and I'd still watch the man. He's a freaking legend!

CAUSE WHATCHA GONNA DO, BROTHER, WHEN HULKAMANIA RUNS WILD OVER TNA?!!

Hulk's gonna die in the ring paying for that fat skank ex wife of his. Did you guys see that her new man is 30 years younger than her?

Prove there are springs or cusions in the mat. Cause most any wrestling fan that has seen a behind the scenes special or have shown up to an event very early have seen the ring go up and can tell you otherwise.
ooooohhh pwnage!

Um in most the unbiased documentaries iv seen they stated there are springs and cushions in most professional rings...

I am not a wrestling fan and in my experience the main problem with wrestling fakness vs other fakness is when I state pokemon or terminator or such are fake I don't have some low IQ drunk hick calling me names and trying to fight me. I know its bad to let a few bad experiances sway your oppionon but for years there was a ring inside my local hobby shop (now its across the street) but I still had to deal with your stereotypical low IQ muscle head who would bump into people and want to fight about it.

If Hogan wants to enter the ring again let him if he gets hurt that's on him he knew the risks.

That's just small potatoes anyways, like I said, how is the fakeness of wrestling any different than the fakeness of TV and movies? It's not that I'm not in denial, it's that you're a hater.

-Nate-
Im not a hater I love Sgt. Slaughter (In GI joe lol )all Im saying is from MY FIRST HAND experience it would seem otherwise (I watched Unbiased Documentaries ).and if it just as fake as TV shows and movies why not just watch those at least in movies and TV shows theres actually a point to why they fight and a better stories and probably better acting. It seems so randomly barbaric to me.

this is just my personal opinion .

Yeah. It would be Espeacally bad if wrestling wasn't staged fake . huh .

The physical part is real, it's the rest that is fake. That's why some people are worried about his return to the ring.

What's Fake: The characters, the dialogue, the storylines, and the matches are pre-planned who's gonna win. But what's real is the athleticism they perform (you try to do a back flip onto someone 30 feet below you on the ground, or you get tossed off a steel cage, how can you fake that?), and a lot of the hits they take. Granted, they are trained to roll with punches and land certain ways to take the edge off of the impact, but they still take the hits nonetheless. And despite popular belief, there are not cushions or springs in the wrestling mat. It's just a wooden structures with a mat and ropes on top.

That being said, though, how much TV & Movies do you watch that's fake? What's the difference? It's all entertainment.

There totally are springs and cushions in the mat your in denial so basically all they are is buff stunt men who can't act its ridiculous

My mom watches all those reality TV shows and get stuck watching them when I come upstairs, I've seen "hogan knows best" a few times and he is always working out and doing active stuff, So he should be in pretty good shape actually.

I didn't say wrestling isn't staged. I said that accidents can happen and if an old codger like Hogan strains himself too much at his age he could drop dead from exertion alone, even without factoring in accidents.

Tell that to Owen Hart's family. Accidents happen and in that business they can happen more often than folks would like to admit.

You've been out of the loop for a while. WCW is dead and buried, Vince McMahon and the WWE bought them out as well as ECW. That's right, I said WWE. It is no longer WWF, it is now WWE which stands for World Wrestling Entertainment. That came about because the World Wildlife Fund threatened a lawsuit against the then WWF for using those letters as their logo. And the WWE is now "family-friendly" wrestling. You will no longer see the types of things you used see coming from guys like Stone Cold and Degeneration-X anymore.

TNA was started by Jeff Jarrett a couple of years after WCW was sold to WWE. A lot of the top independent guys of the time and a lot of former WCW stars who weren't on the WWE roster were their main guys. Nowadays, it's gotten bigger and flashier and it is run by a genuine business woman rather than Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett is back in the ring where he belongs. It's basically the new WCW. And it still has shock-value, blood, and extreme matches; unlike the now tamed-down WWE. Wrestlers on the roster include: Hulk Hogan, Sting, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley (Mankind), Jeff Jarrett, Booker T, Scott Steiner, The Dudley Boyz (now named Team 3-D), Bobby Lashley, A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Beer Money Inc., The Motorcity Machineguns, LAX, and so many others.

If you're at all interested in pro-wrestling, I highly recommend checking TNA out. TNA Impact! airs Thursdays at 9pm on Spike TV, and this Thursday would be a good time to catch it, because it's gonna be the can't miss debut of Hulk freaking Hogan in TNA!!!

Dude's pushing 60... how in shape can he possibly be? The human body at that age is not meant to perform athletic stunts of that extreme. I really hope this isn't a mistake on his part that'll end up with him in the hospital. I loved him back in the day but he really has no business in a ring today imho.

As a side note, what is TNA? I only know of WCW and WWF.
