Maybe you could ask your grandparents if you can do work for them, like mowing the lawn, cutting and hauling brush, pulling weeds in the garden/flower beds.
So ask your folks. Seriously ask them. Be honest about it... tell them there's something you really want but you need to earn the money for it. Tell them you'll do whatever it takes to earn that cash. You may be surprised... parents love that kind of brazen work ethic.
I live in the country so working the streat corners is out. I'll loock through my collection and sea if theres some stuff I wouldn't mind parting with. Maby I'll get wrid of my supergirl.
I used to do chores for money.
If I reall wanted something I did a bunch of chores earned the cash and bought it.
Go around your neighborhood and ask people if they have any odd jobs you can do for a few bucks. You'll have enough before you know it.
It's how I earned money for comics when I was your age.
