Which One?

Posted in Off Topic

Guys, in a few weeks I'm getting the chance to meet Stan Lee. My question is which comic ( if you were me ) would you get signed. I have a fair condition X-Men #12 or a mint condition reprint of Amazing Fantasy #15. Here's my problem- Juggernaut is my all time fav villian and I have evey apperance by him in the comics, but Spidey is my all time fav good guy near and dear to my heart. So, which one?

Thanks punstarr, that helped. It never was about dollar value for though. I'm going with spidey.

Awesome. I got to meet Stan last March. I got him to sign my Avengers #4 (and yes it had to be verified... but I do understand why. It's to prevent forgeries and so you have proof that it was the Man himself who signed it). Honestly I'd have him sign the comic with your favorite character. I could have had him sign an X-Men #1 which would have been awesome and valuable, but in the end Cap is one of my all time favorites so that was more important to me than monetary value.

Too bad it isn't an original lol. A family in the news was about to lose their house until they were packing and found an original copy of the first appearance of superman. lets just say they needn't worry about moving now lol. Downside with these dvds is crossovers aren't complete.

lol what you do is get someone to go with you and get the other one signed. I'd go for X-men but that's because I'm a huge fan. I'd cheat, I have a dvd of all the xmen comics from 1963-2006 on it so I'd get that signed.

Yeah, sorry I can only get one signed. For the record- I have a HUGE amount of respect for Stan and I really can't wait to meet him.
Thanks for your reply- still not sure which one though.

I agree unless they limit the number of comics. I know when he was in Pittsburgh you could only get one signed. I have a copy of the 1991 relaunch of X-men (#1) signed by him in an acryllic case with a certificate of authenticity since the scammers who came up with that system have ensured comics are worthless wihtout their little piece of paper.

Why not both given that you show him your respect for his age and profion and him the father of marvel comics.
