Might take a few days off at end of month

Can't manage it, my mom can get her hours back for next week minus one day but they won't give her time off if we did change the date. Plus to be honest them messing around has put me off the surgery after nearly 6 months of preparing. At this point I want nothing to do with UPMC at all.

The surgery is off. Even if the paperwork got done tomorrow it wouldn't be okay'd by insurance until tuesday if not later.

They've been getting a hard time from my surgeon too, he was p*ssed when he found out they'd taken a month to get me the first sleep study. They already talked to the guy running that program and he's the one who lied to them.

That's what I would do, but then again I love to give people a hard time...especially if, like them, they've earned it.

They said 3-4 days for the paperwork to get done despite guaranteeing my surgeon it would be done before the next morning which was yesterday. My mom can get 3 of the 4 days she took off back on her schedule. I've filed a complaint about the sleep study program with the hospital too. I'm about to call and tell them not to bother. Its not worth wasting my family's time if they're going to screw around. At best it would be another 2 weeks at least before the surgery could be done.

Sorry to hear Dude, I know you really gearing up to get this surgery done. Did they give you any idea on the delay time?

Looks like there is a good chance the surgery isn't going to happen, they lied to the surgeon about how long the results of the last sleep study would take. I was told that it would be 3-4 days this morning and I don't think the surgeon can do much more to get these folks moving. Everyone avoid going to a UPMC hospital.

It may be postponed thanks to the sleep study people f'n with me again.

Dang that's awefuls. Hopefully after this surgery goes well you won't need so many meds and stuff.

Yer a soviet now? lol. Man tomorrow I get stuck doing a sleep study @.@ Hopefully I don't have sleep apnea. Then next week I think I have something going every stinking day. If it isn't surgery related its something to do with my normal med updates, injections and what not. Then after all this I need to start saving for cosmetic surgery to get the excess skin removed as they only pay for the skin on stomach being removed if it causes you issues.

Actually my insurance is paying for everything but the dietician visit and even that they may pay for.

Isn't kinda funny how "2-3 days stay in the hospital" sounds a lot like "hope you plan to be broke when we send you the bill".

Well by the sounds of the hospital today I should expect to be at least 2 days in the hospital. I was hoping for overnight like some folks but she said it could be as long as 3 days.

Naw its just Im like superman I know when Im needed which isnt often and having like 7 people in the house that will be on our internet like not even doing anything but they don't think to close the browser it just slows everyone down like I know my brothers fiancée will turn on her laptop go online and just leave it on... ALL FREAKING DAY! ONLY USING T ABOUT ONCE EVERY 5 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!
