Posted in Off Topic

Afternoon Boils and ghoules !

My old Zombie lungs are fit and healthy ....for a zombie , I am a smoker and really REALLY enjoy it ..but
everyone of my family and friends has been buggin me to quit , these swines will stop at nothing I am really thinking
about finding a freshly dug grave to push them in ! I have been booked in to get the evil anti smoking tablets from my
doctor on tuesday ...

How should I enjoy my last few days as a smoker ? I thinkn I`ll have like a week after the tablets start

Same for my pops. Had our Family Christmas on the 8th of January and he passed the morning of the 9th. I smoke a ton of weed but have never smoked a cigarette, and proud to say. I don't knock people that smoke I just think it is unhealthy.

My dad... he died because of it.
Just 60 years old with a lot of time left if he quit earlier.
Just one stroke rendered him bed-ridden for a year and went to Heaven the next.

That nipple ring looks more painful that the tube I wish they'd change the color of the disinfectant they wipe on you, I mean does it really have to be red? Why not a nice blue or something.

Dude! I swear to GOD the exact same happened to me about 5 yrs. ago. I quit for approx. 2 yrs. then went back to it. Chest tubes ARE NOT COOL try if you can to imagine yourself being impaled. The only real difference in our stories is I wasn't on my way to work, I was actually in my local comic book shop-and drove myself to the hospital. Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Dude I Feel your pain , its like the worst pain I can describe , you feel EVERYTHING they are doing to you , not cool at all .
Kinda glad someone else knows the pain so everyone knows im not faking how sore it was lol
hope your doin well now . really hope you never go through it again

I used to smoke like a chimney for years even around my daughter when she was little, then she eventually developed asthma. I know a great many things can cause asthma but I am certain that contributed. It is indeed a fact that second hand smoke is dangerous for those around you. However I was in denial for a while and kept smoking but I noticed my daughter would have an asthma attack frequently but once I made the decision to stop smoking for myself and her, believe it or not her attacks have not been as frequent since, I also have a niece who now has a permanent lung issue because her mom smoked like a chimney in the house all the damn time, and it is a condition that she bow has to take medication for for the rest of her life and she is only 15. Only fifteen and her lungs are already damaged, yet she herself has never smoked. Now with that being said no one can make you quit you have to want to quit yourself. If you do continue to smoke I recommend not smoking around those it bothers. Ever since I stopped smoking about four years ago I have noticed how horrible it really smells, I can smell a smoker a mile away, it is in their hair, their clothes and on their body. It is a wretched smell!

Hey there guys thanks very much for your advise,,,,a few people on here know but I thought I would share ,
I did try and stop smoking...then my lung collapsed!!! seriously stopped for 2 days and my right lung collapsed when I was on my way to work , this should also be in the I`m in pain thread but let me tell you it freaking hurt !I`ve got tattoos on my "bikini area" but this was just awful , they had to put a drain in without any drugs again it freaking hurt REAL BAD , was fine then it collapsed again and ended up having a small operation to fix me up , I totally knew zombies were fixable . But I am now proud to say I`m still a smoker I`m never gonna try and quit again , who knows what`ll happen next time I do ! but thanks again for the advise .

I just quite about 5 weeks ago but I still think about it everyday. Everyone I've talked to says it never really goes away and a lot of people that quite for years go right back to it like they never stopped. I'm going to look into getting an electronic cigarette so I still get the smoke breaks at work.

I used to smoke regular cigarettes but I switched to Herbal not long ago. They get the job done so I'm alright with them.

Try looking into Electronic cigarettes too, you can get different flavors and even Nicotine in them if you'd like.

As I always say when people bug me about chewing, " I ain't no quitter!" Never smoked, but I have been enjoying the smooth deliciousness of Copenhagen Longcut for 16 years now, and I have loved every moment. For all those anti-tobacco folks who say it makes your teeth gross. I have whiter teeth than all my friends, and they don't even chew. If you take good care of your teeth, you could drink motor-oil and it wouldn't make a difference (although, it would most likely kill you internally).

I say, quit for yourself, and only if you want to.

I'm not a smoker so my initial reaction would be to tell you to quit. main reason is of course because of your health, smoking is bad even for your zombie lungs. hehe! ok.... I know its been said a hundred times... sorry.

I know it's hard to just stop... so maybe you could just smoke whenever your family and friends are not around. hehe! that way they'll never bug you about quitting.

but hey! you know how the saying goes...

"quitters never win!" haha!

I agree. I don't smoke but I firmly believe people have a right to smoke. I stopped eating out when they took out smoking sections as I hid there to get away from folks with screaming kids. If you do keep going find a place that lets you roll your own in large quantities as it saves you a lot. The one place near us is busy and standing room only with 4 large auto rolling machines from 8am to closing. I have to go in now and then to get my dad pipe tobacco. So I say light up and blow smoke in these anti-smoking communist losers' faces.

You should definitely enjoy your last few days mate. I quit smoking once for like 2 years but then the stress of moving accross the country and trying to find a house and a job at the same time made me crumble. I'm giving up again after I turn 30 and everyday I make it a personal mission to enjoy every smoke I have. I know I can do it as I've done it before, I just don't want too, as for my breath smelling like an ashtray..........nope, that's what mints and chewing gum are for . Besides it's better than having naturally bad breath at least people know what they're smelling right?? and smoking is cool.......(Smoking is NOT, repeat NOT cool) So yeah enjoy it man coz there's a lot of hard times to come but it'll be worth it in the end.

I say do what you want, to hell with what others think, then again that way of think is why I have no friends.
Biggest downside to smoking, aside from the health issue, is that it makes ones breath smell like a wet, dirty ashtray. Then again is you don't mind making people heave at the smell, its all good.
