Hey Guys, Heres one for you. I picked up a DCUC Golden Pharoh the other day and was happy because he was the only one I still needed from the Validus series. I got him home and was about to open him when I noticed his staff was missing? Naturally I assumed that it fell out in the box so I looked and it wasn't there. Then I figured someone must have opened it and took it out but the package was still sealed like it came form the factory with no stress marks or seperated plastic. Now Im not sure whether to just take it back for a refund or contact Mattel? I figure I will just take it back and keep looking for another one. Has anyone else experienced this with DCUC?
The same thing happened to me with my ML Deadpool. A few years back when I got him new and didn't know about this wonderfull hobby, I just thought every joint was waaaaay too loose. Just recently I took another look at him and every single joint peg had been repainted a brighter red then the rest of his body. I have no way of knowing for sure but it's a good bet someone took him apart to cast the body and put him back together. I never really paid attention to the packaging but on the plus side all the accesories were with him.
Ahh looks like your right, So he did have the stand though?
I would have suspected a dirty collector/scalper bought it~opened it for the c&c~carefully (professionally) re-sealed it and returned it as this is the case most of the time around here.
But otherwise I would say it's a genuine factory screw up.
He didn't come with a C&C piece but I think he is the one in the series that just comes with a SP base. If not then that means he was snatched of 2 pieces.
