Batman Movie Masters scale issues

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

I bought the MM BB Batman and the MM TDK Batman, and I noticed something odd, tdk Bats is larger than BB Bats. It doesn't make any sense at all. The same actor played Bats in both movies and a side-by-side comparison shows that his boots are the same. So what was Mattel thinking?

Yeah I don't see why we didn't get a Ras or a cop joker for that matter. Both would have rocked. Yeah I know what you mean, the two versions of MM Joker I own don't have bicep articulation. Now the Joker as gotham city thug might be different...I don't know as I can't find that freakin thing anywhere.

I think Ras is a possibility the the rest I don't see them making, a line of guys in suits would get old pretty quick and I think it ended at the right time(maybe a wave or two early) before we started getting figures like Deep Sea Batman or Pirate Joker.
My only complaint is the lack of bicep articulation on the Joker, all the other figures had it didn't they?

A Movie Masters Zsasz would be great...I hadn't thought of that. I could probably live without Falcone and Chill though.

Movie Masters was a great line that needed to continue...and the only figures I think we should have got that we didn't are, Joker as the nurse, and Ras Al Ghul. Why we didn't get those I'll never know. But I'm positive we'll get more when The Dark Knight Rises comes out.

Well they're shorter than DCUC because as Mattel explains "DCUC is heroic sized, where Movie Masters is real world size". Both lines are supposed to be 1/12 scale, MM figures come in right at 6 inches, so DCUC is actually oversized for the scale.

Anyway my point of frustration is that the same character from the same line isn't the same height throughout the line .

The figures ARE great to look at but your right, the scale between the BB & the TDK figure is really bad, have you also noticed how small they are (MM) compared to the DCUC line it's crap man, the MM shoulder joints are just above the ab joint on the DCUC ( I just checked

I noticed the same thing about mine...I understand the Dark Knight suit being more bulky, but it should be the same size as begins Batsuit. I really don't know why they did that. Still I won't complain too much Movie Masters is the best figure line to come out in years.
