titan hero tech?

Posted in Custom Workstation

Ive been looking into making a custom 1/6 scale antman and i was going to use a hot toys body. I saw that "titan hero tech" makes a 12 inch antman and i was thinking about getting it to use the head sculpt. Only one problem though. All of the websites these things are sold on say that they are indeed 12 inches (the same size a hot toys generally) but whenever i see them in store they look way smaller and out of proportion with traditional 1/6th scale figures. Does anyone know if a titan hero tech head would go on a hot toys body in scale?

The reason the Titan hero figures look smaller is because they generally measure 11.5 inches head to toe as opposed to 12". Next to a marvel legends icon it is slightly shorter. However I have noticed personally that they seem to exaggerate the size of the head slightly as well so the heads are bigger than that of a similar body type icons figure. I have a replaced a Titan hero head with a hot toy head and it looked fine but you will have some extra work getting them to fit because the socket in the Titan hero head is bigger.
