McFarlane Toys has secured the rights to make figures based on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic series AND television series. They have announced the lineup for the first two series. Series one will feature characters in their comic book form and series two will feature characters as they appear in the television series.
Series 1: Officer Rick Grimes Michonne Zombie Lurker Zombie Roamer
Series 2: Deputy Rick Grimes Daryl Dixon Zombie Walker Zombie Biter
Each human figure includes multiple interchangeable accessories and several points of articulation for limitless possibility and customization. Each zombie figure features unique, gory, play action such as exploding heads and removable limbs. Figures are expected to sell for around $14.99 at retailers nationwide.

Can't wait for these. Going to buy multiple sets of these when they come out. Hopefully McFarlane makes these the next Halo where we get like 10+ lines of figures. Think of all the zombies that could be made!

Series 2's Rick's head looks off but it may be the picture. Dixon and the zombies look amazing though!
I wish there would also be a 12 inch version of it.
