Helmets

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hey guys, Does anyone know a 6 inch toyline that has full helmets? I'm trying to make a figure but he needs a helmet and one line that has the kind I'm looking for is Spiral Zone but I don't see too may of them for sale on the interwebs ( at least not the set/parts I would need). Any ideas on another line or how to make one?
Thanks in advance!

When it comes to stuff like helmets, 99% of the time you have to sculpt it to get anything like what you want.

Whenever that needs to happen, I wrap the figure's head in plastic wrap or tape then sculpt the helmet on it. Once it's done, I take the helmet off then hollow out the inside as needed to make it removable.

Ahhh....Thanks for the response Dr.Nightmare! Yeah I wasn't sure if sculpting was gonna be my only option or not. I thought about that and was thinking to use 2 heads, one w/out helmet and one with but being a fan of toys in general I kinda like removable helmets Lol. Is there a certain kind of plastic or tape you use?

I just use masking tape

Using two heads is probably the easier way to do it, then you don't have to worry about hair being too bulky or paint rub and stuff.
