Paints

Posted in Custom Workstation

I am an aspiring customizer and i don't have much money on hand, so i was wondering want type of paints i should use to paint a halo Reach figure.
these are the colors

Yellow
Green
Light Blue

what would you recommend for each of the colors? i already have it sanded and ready to paint but i really don't want to use a paint bottle that cost 25 bucks.

Start with craft paints like Folk Art, they're like $1 a bottle and you get a healthy amount of product. Learn to paint well with those by practicing thinning, drybrushing, etc. Use primer if you're getting too many brushmarks or the paint won't stick well.

Then you can buy some Testors acrylics, they're like $3 a bottle. They flow better and are more durable.
