Slow-drying super glue

Slow-drying super glue
Posted in
Custom WorkstationI've been using Loctite super glue and it dries really hard, which is great, but it dries so fast that I have basically no time to get a piece into position or adjust it if it's not quite right. It sounds like there are kinds of super glue with additives that make them dry more slowly, but I haven't actually been able to find any--I'm either seeing types of super glue that are advertised as drying faster than the competition (not what I want!) or stuff like "fast-drying" Tacky Glue that takes 35 minutes, which is way longer than I want to hold a piece in position. Suggestions?

I use Krazy Glue or the generic store brands because they're only a buck, compared to 6 bucks for Gorilla Glue or whatever. I can put a drop of the KG or generic on something and it'll be liquid for like 10 seconds before it starts to form a skin, more than enough time to press/position the pieces together. I'd start with the generic store brand super glue and see if that will last longer than Loctite.
