Shortening limbs

Posted in Custom Workstation

So I have decided on my base for my damian wayne however the legs I have are too long. If I cut them and glue them together and resculpt over it, how strong would the bond be? Would this work?

Speaking of necks I really want to try putting a revoltech joint in one of my necks. Someone needs to make a tutorial for that

Even though I did this tutorial for the more recent Marvel neck pegs it could easily be adapted for fixing up the legs on your figure...

Since you're shortening the legs just do away with the washer and use the threaded part of a nylon screw to put the leg pieces back together (don't forget the super glue). This should give the legs a bit more strength at the point they're joined together since, as long as you don't make the holes too wide, the threads of the screw will grip each section quite firmly. I've done this with a couple of necks and have popped heads off and on numerous times with no worries about it coming apart.

Yep

Super glue should be enough since it essentially melts the two pieces together, I just did it with a wrestling figure. If you want to go a step further, connect the two pieces with a toothpick or scrap rod first.
