Trying to make a Miles Morales custom

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hey there guys, kinda new to the site. I wanted to make a custom Mikes morales on the superior spiderman mold since he's shorter than the pizza spidey and I feel like, being a teen and all, it fit in better. My only problem I would be facing would be the webbing on his suit. I heard somewhere that a sharpie pen will do the trick but is there anything I should do before hand to get a better pull or is there a completely different method I should try out? Thanks for answering.

If you have a steady hand, then I don't see why you can't freehand it with a brush tip marker. It's not going to be perfectly straight (unless you're a pro pinstriper), but it'll be good enough.

On that note though, you can buy some narrow pinstriping tape to mask off the vertical lines and paint them one at a time, then freehand the curvy ones.

FIRSTLY: PATIENCE. If u don't mind a glossy look, a marker will be the way to go- definitely easier. If not back to patience, & do it w/a small tipped brush, apply even strokes making sure the paint isn't drippin from the brush, otherwise, it'll be gooier/thicker where u 1st apply it.
