As the title suggests, I may be done with this hobby. I may not have contributed online, but I have customized as early as 8 years old (currently 19). Unfortunately, I can't run away from my real life problems anymore...

As a parting gift, I will share my last true project I never quite finished.

Thanks everyone. It's just a matter of me finding something (or someone) I'd sacrifice everything for in a sense...

@raygunz: In regard to my customizing, I can't describe myself as talented, but I can admit my work has been more aimed at the physiological aspects (articulation and accessories) which explains the lack of paint work or sculpted details... In a sense, my projects were more experimental than complete. (Go ask Loosecollector how many times I sent ideas for commissions, lol)

I have sold a bit of my collection lately, namely my center piece and feel this behavior is a sign of my parting... I have a high amount of respect for the customizers of this community, and even more respect for the hobby alone.

@Redmist: If all goes well, this sacrifice (among others) will make me the happiest man alive.

@newcollector: I suppose the only certain thing in life is that nothing is for sure...

P.s. A few specs on this custom:

This idea was strongly influenced by a customer by the name of Atenra Action Figures who made a Kazuya out of a Neca Ryu body (Look him up on YouTube or Pinterest). Having liked the idea but not the aesthetics of the original, I decided to give my own spin on it...

Head, hands, and feet are from Epoch's Kazuya figure, lightning hand is from Sota Evil Ryu, legs from Capcom vs Snk 2 Ryu, Mattel elite Vladimir Kozlov arms, Sota Ken torso (was planning to try an Adon torso cuz it looked bigger), and trophy from Epoch Hwoarang (the Kazuya figure I ordered came with extra fodder)

I originally wanted to try this (along with an Akuma like Atenra's) with a Planet Toys Doppo Orochi body, but those are like gems nowadays.

We all need balance. That's one of the keys to a good life. I don't know your particular situation; but while u are solving your problems or those u care for, also remember to treat yourself to something that makes you happy. Good luck & godspeed!

I echo Raygunz comment. I hope that you can fight through your problems and eventually find your way bavk to this hobby which (obviously) brings you joy.

Sorry no one's replied yet but it's sad to see a clearly talented artist quit. You're so right--toys provide quite the escape from the scary world outside. I'm 31 and know that all too well.
Want to talk about why you have to quit? You're never too old (at least I hope not, for my sake).
