I have the new doctor strange diamond edition. Ive modified it to be a cloth cape with the plastic cowl sitting over it..but the way they made the cowl is all droopy and I want it to stand like in the comics. Ive tried the boil and shape method..but its so well molded it keeps slowly shifting back to its original shape.
Any ideas how to prevent this or to make it stay where I want it?
Only thing I can think of is to either sculpt a new cowl piece or cut one from a more rigid, but flexible, material. One quick idea I just had was maybe use the cowl piece as a template to cut a piece of flat, clear blister pack the same size and shape to act as a support from the back. There's info in the tutorial section on heating the blister pack to shape it since you'd need to have it curved to a certain degree. I have no idea how the cowl attaches to the figure so you'd have to figure out that part, or maybe someone else has a better, more simple solution.
