Short character base body in 6" scale

Posted in Custom Workstation

There is a custom I would like to do of a child character in 6 inch scale, so I wanted to know if anyone had recommendations for a potential base body. I've done a bit of searching and haven't really found anything with good pose ability that would work for what I'm looking for. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Old toy biz 5' guys could help but you'll have less articulation...the current TMNT line has smaller humans w/more articulation

That could work well. I'll be sure to keep a look out for those. Thanks for the suggestion.

Which character are you planning on making?

I'm planning on making a comic version of Carl from The Walking Dead in his earlier appearances.

That will certainly come in handy for another character I would like to do to go with this character. Thanks! Any ideas for a young child in addition to that?

Not sure if you are looking to made a teenage character or a younger child. I have found that for teenagers, the DC Movie Masters figures are the right size when compared to DCUC or ML. I like the batman begins prototype suit figure as it is a nice black base to customize over.
