Good moldable flexable material

Posted in Custom Workstation

What's a good material that can be used to say sculpt a viking skirt and for the material to be rubbery or be slightly bendable when dried, like a soft plastic.

I know it's been awhile but I figure I would add two more cents. I made some flexible antennae for The Tick using an insulated solid copper wire as an armature, sugru, and then a mixture of clear epoxy and acrylic paint. I know, I know...everything about this goes against everything they said about mixing mediums in art school, however...bam! It works!...its been months since I primered it and it still hasn't done anything strange, like cracking or peeling, it solid and flexible...maybe a little too rigid, and it returns back to it's original shape, which wasn't exactly what I was going for, but it works. What was your solution and did it work out?

I'd definitely need to paint it with acrylic paint

Could be a great choice in this case

Just keep in mind maybe Sugru can't be painted because it's silicone, and who knows if it will hold fine detail
