Working with softer plastics

I'm trying to make some custom TMNT chest plates. The yellow part of the shell that usually looks like six individual yellow plates on the front of the turtle's torsos. Anyone know a good material that comes in sheets or blocks that can be sculpted? I would like it to remain flexible.

That's what I think we call Sintra. I thought that stuff was pretty stiff but I'll look into it. Thanks, man.

...hey.may try to get some material called forex,its made of hardened foam and been used mostly for advertising signs on trade fair-booths.I think it came only in max 0,7" thick plates,but its flexible,possible to dremel it and it doesn't break as easily.or maybe better to cut a bendable rubber-figure and paint it with vinylpaint? hope this could help you
