Adhesives Help

I'm not exactly new to customs, but I mainly work with miniatures. I have a small collection of action figures and some which I want to do repairs on ( particularly the small opening seams of arms/leg figures ).In the meaning how some action figures are casted with front & back of the arm / leg and the middle seam part has slightly opened due to age and suchh etc.
In miniatures, I use a plastic glue that pretty much from my understanding, heats up and fuses plastic in the miniatures together. I also have green stuff ( but I prefer not to usit in this case ).
Does anyone have experience with this type of glue if used on action figures? I mainly use on Warhammer figures and Reaper ones ... Or any suggestions of other adhesives that are good to use?
I would prefer not to use super glue because I dont like the extra shiny coat it gives / sometimes frosty coat might seap through the seam...
Thank you

In that case what youre using is recommended because that fuses the plastic together. For Gundam models, they lay a bead of that cement along the edges where the parts meet, making sure a little bit overflows from the seam. Then when it's cured they sand away the excess to get a seamless surface.
I don't think there would be any problems using liquid cement on action figures, but you could always test it on scrap pieces.
I don't know of any glue that will magically fill the gaps so you don't have to do any post work like sanding and painting. Maybe use super glue and simply use a flat or satin sealer to get rid of the gloss finish?
