Buying joints?

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was some place online that sells marvel legends double hinge joints and hard disc hinges in mass or something similar to that? Is there any place where I could buy the discs or the double hinges or even single hinges in mass? Maybe like a pack of 20 or something? I've tried searching for something like this for awhile, but don't know where to look, it would help alot if anyone could point to something atleast similar to double hinges and hard discs that come in mass. The scale of the joints don't matter to me, it could be MU scale or ML scale, it doesn't matter to me. Thanks to anyone who helps!!

Here's an old review I wrote that has pics of Revoltech joints

There are also generic/bootleg Revoltech type joints that don't have the "click" action, they all work about the same though. Those random grab bags on ebay have a mix of bootleg and real R-joints.

I used some for my Inque custom, the shoulders and elbows are R-joints, the arms are scratch built.

Is it possible to use one of these joints in those ebay lots as a neck joint?

@Nitro
You probably can, it'll work like the old toy biz marvel legends necks, maybe better since you can hinge it in any direction.

@ENul
I used to write a lot of reviews and ghostwrite articles for random websites and magazines (freelance). Had to stop since no one wants to pay me anymore lol

I don't know what bit I used, for holes I tend to use a skinny bit and just widen it to what I need. If I go too wide I just dab some white glue in there and let it cure, that way it provides some rubbery grip.

You can buy figma joints in bulk, random colors though

And I'm guessing because of the nature of the joint, its impossible to paint over them.

You can paint them, it's two halves clamped together with a pin.

You still run into the same issue of paintrub though once inserted into a body part and moved, but can be protected in the same ways (superglue).

You can also soak them in Rit dye. (Don't boil)

Light colors can change.
Med-dark, just use black.
